Board member training
Welcome to the board! We’re happy to have you on board!
This online training will introduce you to KVT’s activities, principles, and board work. It will also challenge you to reflect on volunteer work and its responsibilities: Section 2 is specifically designed for volunteers going abroad, but we encourage you to consider board work in the context of volunteer projects. The course consists of four sections:
- Introduction to KVT and the umbrella organization SCI
- Responsible volunteering
- Responsibilities and roles of the board
- About peace and summary
We estimate the training will take about two hours to complete and can be done at your own pace. Make notes if you have any questions — there will be a dedicated Q&A section during the board training day!
Start by registering via the ”Login to enroll” button. In the pop-up window, select ”Register” on the right.
Once registered, begin the course by clicking the arrow below the image to expand Section 1. Start with the top subheading (Peace). To proceed, mark each subsection as complete using the ”Mark complete” button. The course must be completed in order.
